Glow Facials

On our Glow Facials course we are basically giving you a ‘business in a box’.  This course is an all encompassing aesthetics package and will allow you to offer these increasingly in demand services to paying customers.  A pre-requisite for any aesthetics qualification is to hold a Facials or Level 2 in Beauty Therapy qualification.  This is why we have built a Facials & Skincare qualification into the Glow Facials Course.

This is an intensive and content rich course and will provide you with the fundamental skills and competence to offer aesthetics treatments to your clients.

Duration

We will deliver this course on a face to face basis over a full day, 10.00am to 4.00pm.  We will need you to attend our training centre so that practical sessions and assessments can be carried out.

What We Will Cover:

Facials & Skincare

Teaching you both the theoretical knowledge and practical skills to competently perform an effective facial treatment.  We will cover the essential skills to effectively cleanse, tone, perform a skin analysis, exfoliate, apply mask and moisturise your client’s skin.  Not only this, you will learn a facial massage routine to add value for money to your skincare treatments.

Dermaplaning

This session we will explain how to perform Dermaplaning. This is a treatment which uses a sterilised surgical blade to remove the fine vellus hair and keratinised cells from the outer skin layer (epidermis).  This leaves the skin looking fresh, shiny and clean.  You will firstly learn the relevant anatomy, skin types, contraindications, what equipment is required and much more. After covering the theory, our tutor will take you through a step by step practical demonstration and you will then have the opportunity to practice on a live model.

BB Glow Microneedling

Guiding you through the procedure of how to create a delicate illuminating & lighting foundation effect therefore reducing facial imperfections, aligning the skin tone & structure and providing a subtle effect of makeup without mask effect. Our Trainer will support you through techniques of delivering BB Glow Microneedling on live models. The BB Glow Course covers the BB glow treatment, which is carried out using a microneedling pen, then you will use Mesotherapy, BB pigments and a mask to finish off the look

LED Light Therapy

LED Light Therapy uses a variety of different lights to penetrate into the dermis to gain the desired effect. It can be effectively used to stimulate collagen and elastin, reduce inflammation, accelerate healing and help to tackle acne/breakouts. LED Light Therapy can be used as a stand alone service or combined with other aesthetics services. We will support you throughout the session, to an Industry Standard.  You will learn the skills necessary to competently and confidently provide this treatment to paying customers. Full practical demonstrations and practice time will be provided to you during this session.

Accreditation

Completing this course with us will provide you with the accreditation and certification needed to offer these services to clients.  We will provide you with a comprehensive manual so that you can refer to it at any time you feel the need to refresh your skills and knowledge.  Our tutor will provide you with 1:1 support during and after the course.  Our aim is to ensure you feel confident and competent in carrying out these treatments with clients.
