Ofqual Regulated Courses
We are able to offer Ofqual Regulated qualification routes for those looking to study nails and beauty in depth.
These qualifications are accredited through Focus Awards and are widely recognised within the industry.
You must be 16+ to enrol for any of the courses below and a good standard of literacy and numeracy is required.
There will be a balance between theoretical and practical elements to these qualifications and will require a commitment from you to study at home as well as one day per week classroom-based session.
Funding may be available for the Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy, Level 2 Certificate in Nail Technology and the Level 3 Diploma in Nail Technology. This funding will be dependent on eligibility.

Units covered:
- Introduction to the Hair and Beauty Sector
- Presenting a Professional Image in a Salon
- Hand care
- Skin care
- Basic Make-up Application
- Salon reception duties
- Follow health and safety in the salon
- Providing Basic Pedicure Treatment
- Providing basic manicure treatment
- Provide Nail Art
Duration:
It will take between 6-8 weeks to complete this qualification. Classroom Sessions will take place one day per week at our Centre in Aldridge, Walsall.
Units Covered:
- Provide pedicure treatments
- Develop and maintain effectiveness at work
- Ensure your own actions reduce risks to health and safety
- Provide facial skin care treatment
- Enhance the appearance of eyebrows and eyelashes
- Provide manicure treatments
- Carry out waxing services
- Apply make-up
- Instruction on make-up application
- Promote additional services or products to customers
Duration:
It will take between 10-12 weeks to complete this qualification. Classroom Sessions will take place one day per week at our Centre in Aldridge, Walsall.
Units Covered:
- Follow health and safety practice in a salon environment
- Provide manicure treatments
- Provide pedicure treatments
- Client care and communication in beauty related industries
- Provide and maintain nail enhancements
- Provide nail art

It will take between 10-12 weeks to complete this qualification. Classroom Sessions will take place one day per week at our Centre in Aldridge, Walsall.

- Promote and sell products and services to clients
- Monitor and maintain health and safety practice in the salon
- Provide massage using pre-blended aromatherapy oils
- Apply stone therapy massage
- Apply individual permanent lashes
- Provide self-tanning
- Client care and communication in beauty-related industries
