Ingage is a complete Leadership Development Programme which is fully tailored to your individual needs or those of your organisation.  In our most recent customer satisfaction survey over 97% of those who attended rated the programme as outstanding and would recommend to others.  Come and join us for a life changing journey

It is estimated that leadership and management skills are one of the biggest skills gaps in the UK with many employers stating how difficult it is to find employees with the necessary skills to lead and manage diverse teams.  The Ingage Leadership Development Programme addresses many of the skills gaps which have been identified, these include:

    • How to integrate into the entrenched culture and survive resistance to you and your authority.
    • How to handle the challenge of maintaining authority and building personal friendships with employees
    • How to motivate people to want to show up for work
    • How to motivate individual initiative and personal responsibility with respect for following procedures and regulations
    • How to develop the judgement to know when to follow written procedures and when to adapt
    • How to give clear instructions and verify recipient’s understanding
    • How to give performance feedback to employees that motivates them to want to improve
    • How to mediate and resolve most employee disputes
    • How to set goals, monitor behaviours and progress and connect these things to performance feedback and organisational success-o-meters
    • How to manage your own stress while managing the stress of others
The Ingage Leadership Development Programme Overview
Session 1 – Programme Start Up (Vision, Mission & Values)

This module will be used to help you understand the programme in detail and enable us to identify individual specific needs. This module will focus on the importance of organisational vision, mission & values, what the organisation stands for, what it is trying to achieve and how you contribute towards this

Session 2 – Managing Yourself

Managing yourself is the most important start point. If you can’t manage yourself then it is more difficult to manage others. The module is based on the completion of a personality questionnaire which enables each individual to understand why they do the things they do and why they find other people either easy or difficult to get on with. Tools are then introduced to help the delegates deal with different situations.

Session 3 – Managing Others

The learning from the previous module can be used directly by you to enhance how you manage and influence other people. This module links this with established management understanding about how to motivate people and creating respect from the workforce.

Session 4 – Managing Your Time

Effective time management is arguably the best kept secret of business success. It greatly increases your work capacity and is a clear sign to others that you are an achiever.

Session 5 – Successfully Managing the Stress of Change

Leaders need to know how to recognise, intervene and, where possible, prevent employee stress. Different people show stress in different ways, so what is a stressful reaction to one person is the norm for another

Session 6 – Performance Feedback and Problem-Solving

Getting and giving performance feedback is like going to the dentist. Everybody dreads it, even if laughing gas is used.
Understanding is the key to effective communication. Analysis is the key to effective problem solving. To solve problems in teams a leader must integrate effective communication techniques with models for problem analysis.

Session 7 – Situational Leadership

This session is all about adapting your leadership style to each unique situation or task to meet the needs of the team or team members. Ken Blanchard and Paul Hersey developed the Situational Leadership® Theory in 1969. They believe that there is no “one size fits all” leadership style.

Session 8 – Attitude & Mindset

During this session you will look at how you are viewing the world and the impact it has on all aspects of leadership. Furthermore, it provides you with the skills to influence the attitude and mindset of their staff

Session 9 – Strategic & Operational Planning

In this session we will look at the differences between strategic and operational planning and identify ways in which to create these plans to align with the organisational Vision, Mission & Values.  As a leader you will be required to participate in planning for your department, teams and overall organisation.  Having the skills to shift between strategic planning and operational planning is so important in the changing world we live in.

Session 10 – Reflection & Implementation

This session will be used to review and reflect on the whole programme.  During this session you will review and reflect on the whole programme. This will be done via evidence from you and feedback from your line manager and staff. This module will also identify other outstanding areas of development need.

As you can see, this programme is packed with content which develops your skills as a leader.

We deliver this programme, tailored to your needs, either as a management group or alternatively you can attend as an individual and still gain the same value.

If you would prefer individual units rather than the whole programme, you can view all our other Leadership & Management courses here.
